Weird. When I was growing up, I was the only person I knew--in the whole world--who had my name! No little door plaques for me!

But now, hey, maybe we should have an Alana Club? I'd like that.

As you can see, I'm just starting out, too

There was another girl at my high school named Alana too but she pronounced it differently. I pronounce it like Atlanta without the t's, rhymes with banana. I've had to explain this a million, trillion times in my life. And most people still don't get it. I'm used to it so it's no sweat. I'm very happy with my name.
What plan are you all following? I did Jenny Craig last summer. The convience was great, the price not so much. Plus I was hungry all the time. I've been doing WW here and there. I haven't stuck to it like I need to.
Welcome to 3fatchicks. Hope to "see" ya around!

wow, there really should be an Alana club

I am calorie counting. I tried weight watchers but I didnt stick to it too well. Finding out the point values of foods was a lil depressing and I think that discouraged me from keeping track. Calorie counting is way better because I have a higher number to play with. Its the same principle as WW essentially but 27 points vs 1176 calories makes me feel like i have more freedom. Its all a mind game i guess.

AND i bought a new scale, so thats helping too.
