Hi everyone
I was a very skinny teen and then a regular sized adult (about 140) until I hit the age of about 32 or so (I'm 42 now). I had gained about 30 pounds between 30-32 and then I quit smoking a couple of years later. I thought that gave me a license to eat! Wrong of course but I went ahead and ate far too much for a year or so, not really noticing how much weight I had been gaining. Before I knew it, I was more than 220 pounds. It was shocking! I promptly signed on to Weight Watchers and lost 30 lbs before I slid back to old habits and gained back all I lost. I had a baby 3 years ago and have since put on another 20 pounds so this time I'm starting from 242 lbs.
I'm back on Weight Watchers and have had a couple of great weeks so far. I'm determined this time because my health is too important. My blood pressure is borderline and I have a young daughter who needs taking care of. It's hard to do that when you feel tired and overweight.
This looks like a great place for support and sharing information
