Default Please help me

Today was my weight in and I was so down to find out I only lost .2

I worked hard this week, and I was hoping for better numbers I guess. How long can I expect to see results? I've being making some research but would like to know your opinion/experience.

It looks like you have lost a total of nine pounds. That is excellent. Weight loss is unpredictable some weeks especially at the beginning you will have a big loss. Other times , not so much. Also, and I know this does not seem fair, but the less you have to lose the slower it goes. Do not let this discourage you. You are doing great.

Thanks bargoo!

I reached the 10 pounds but I started today my week number 9 . Also, if I made a lot of exercise during the week why it didn't show on the scale today Could it be possible that the numbers next week will reflect my exercise from last week?

Lots of things can affect your weight on a given day - if your period is about to start, you retain water. If you ate something salty the night before you weigh in. If you haven't had a bowel movement recently, you obviously weigh a bit more.

Look closely at your tracker too. Make sure you're accounting for every bite you take, and not overestimating your portion sizes.

A couple of weeks ago, I worked so so so hard all week, only to have gained 4 ounces at my weigh in. I was so upset. My period wasn't about to start, but like the PP stated, I did eat badly the night before. I went out to dinner and had a salad... which at restaurants, they ensure it is loaded sodium in the dressing, cheeses, croutons, the grilled chicken I had on it, etc... I shouldn't have ate it... I came home & looked it up.. something I thought I was doing good with, a salad, happened to be 26 points!!!
So really, anything can do it... but water retaining is the big one for me...
Don't get down on yourself! You have lost 9 pounds, that is excellent!! Go through your food journal, and see if you consumed a lot of sodium... if so, figure out what you can do better this week, drink lots of water, and keep your head up!! You can do this--the 9 pounds you have already lost prove that! Good luck!

One week I did everything right and I gained .8 pounds!!! The next week I did everything right again and only lost 1.2 pounds. It was so discouraging. Then the next week, I lost 5.8 pounds! I was so excited! I would try not to worry too much about it. Who knows why your body did that, but I'm sure it will catch up with you. Hang in there!
