i am VERY excited because i have been waiting to fit into this beautiful dress that i bought when was 16. i never even got to wear it, and eventually i got to big to wear it... but it fits now and i intend to wear it for a "formal night" on my next vacation. i originally planned to be at 160, but i think i am going to stop at 170- just because i feel that 160 (what i was in high school) will be very difficult to maintain, so i have decided that at 170 i will then take steps to maintain my weight (15 more pounds) and if i happen to lose more weight then great! and if not - i feel confident that i will be happy at that weight, anyway - here is a recent picture in my beautiful dress
Love the dress and I'd love to trade some of my pounds for your inches - I didn't know 170 could look so fabulous!!!!!! You looked toned and slim and if you had wanted to lose more weight I would have been like "from where"??!! Congratulations on your success - you are going to beating them off with a stick on that formal night.
Wow, you look great! I know how you feel when people don't think you weigh the amount the scales say you do...... I guess the height thing helps cover it up which can be a double edged sword..... anyway--- I agree with the 170, it will be easier to maintain and for your height you will continue to look great.
I want to thank you. I met my goal of winning a bet my son made with me before I got married. I got married May 13 and I have been "cheating" on my diet, but you have renewed my diet motivation...... I am about 12 pounds heavier than you are and I want to keep going so I can look as good as you do! I have had 2 boys and have carried quite a few more pounds than you did, but I want to show off my hourglass as you did! Thanks! I am shooting for 180! I appreciate it and your pic!
wow - thanks so much i never imagined that I could lose this amount of weight, and feel as good as i do, let alone inspire someone else to do the same! i used to be the person looking for the easy way out through quick diet pills and gimmicks. and i must say the more weight i lose, the lazier i tend to get , but never the less i am still on plan doing the best i can while still living life. i know you can do it too! youre almost there
xpinkglowx2, the more I lose the lazier I get too. I guess that is why the last bit of weight loss is the hardest to lose. We put a road block up in our mind..... But, WE are going to get there.
Keep it up! I bet you have inspired more than me..... and I would bet you have inspired people you know in person.
AND, a bit of advise, try to maintain even through marriage and childbearing. I noticed on your profile you are the age of my oldest son..... and if I had one wish as far as weight, I wish I would not have spent his ENTIRE childhood on a diet! I passed up birthday cake and things like that with him b/c I was on a "diet"...... so try to maintain so you can be healthy with your kids!
chickiegirl, I am the same height as you and xpinkglow and I have to say I hate it when shopping for pants, but love it b/c people can never guess I weigh as much as I do!
