Hi everyone! I'm so glad to have found a support forum to help me stick to my weight loss regimen.

I am 24 years old (almost 25) and I have been mildly overweight for most of my life, and slowly gaining as time goes by. Right now I am the biggest I have ever been (5'9", 185 lbs, US size 14) and I realized that if I didn't make a lifestyle change, the gradual weight gain would continue.

I got married about a year ago and my husband is amazing! I have started using the Weight Watchers diet (but not going to meetings- I don't want to pay the $25 a month!) and exercising regularly. My husband goes jogging with me in the mornings and helps me plan my meals every day. If not for him, I probably would have quit in the first 3 hours, but now it's been 5 days and I am still going strong.

I'm very happy to be here and I hope to both find support for myself and offer support to others during their weight loss journeys.

Hi HG, welcome! You are so lucky to have come to the realization at your young age that it is best to get a handle on any weight issue now! And oh so lucky that you have a supportive husband who's actively helping you in your efforts! What a great guy he must be! You'll find lots of support and encouragement here too, so jump right in!
