Default Started P90X

OMGoodness! I started the P90X system today and I have to admit it is intense. I am pretty fit for my size and amazed that I could do half of what I did. I did about 25 minutes of one of the DVD's and it was more of a workout for me than 45 minutes on the elliptical. I started sweating during the warm-up (I warmed up alright!).

All in all! It was a great start to my day and I am looking forward to tomorrow. I am also looking froward to the day I can get through the entire DVD of core exercises (thats the DVD for this morning).

I might try to complete the other half tonight.

This is exciting!

For anyone interested in this system feel free to message me, I am currently more than 100 pounds over weight, so I am taking one day at a time but as of right now I feel that for me, this might be doable.

good luck! I'm currently doing CLX, and I want to finish it since I rarely finish these programs. I think I'll do P90X during the summer though.

Are you following the eating guide with P90X? I know on the p90x message board over there they always say to eat more, and that's kinda scary if you are trying to lose.

Hi Ringmaster,

I have modified the eating plan, I am staying high in protein but I added more veggies. I am a calorie counter so I am going to continue around 1800 calories a day.

It should be interesting.

I am in my second week of P90X, doing the "Lean" program. I am not following the eating guide, but am sticking with the calorie counting I've always done.

I agree it is intense, but the number on the scale is finally starting to go down and my work pants are getting looser. I like the workouts though so far.

I REALLY have wanted to try it. My brother does it but he is in GREAT shape. Might be the thing I start after boot camp this summer.
