Default Hi everyone, I'v been loosing weight all my life (and gaining more)

I have never posted on a site before. I am tired of being overweight and tired and hoping to find some support here. I am wanting to use weight watcher's points as this is what has worked for me at least somewhat in the past. I am a non stop on the go 34 yr old mom who is a full time student (graduating in October 2009). Between my family, the house, yard, animals and my homework I have no time for me. I have been continually gaining weight and I feel out of control. I am looking for some ideas, support and encouragement from those in similar situations. I feel like I should ignore the stuff that has to be done right now and go get on the treadmill for 30 min before I have to pick my daughter up from kindergarten but the voice in my head is listing all the "more important" stuff that needs to be done. I need someone to kick my butt I think

Hi Nic, welcome!! Listen, chickie, you are so important!! Your health is so important!! You need to let some of that other stuff slide because it will be there tomorrow, but you have to start doing something about healthy living today! Please be selfish. Take the time to take care of yourself. Otherwise, it will just keep spinning out of control, and "when mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!" Right? So do for yourself and you'll find it so much easier to do for your family. I'm so glad you found the site! There's a WW forum here, and lots of other great forums, so take a look around and get involved and post lots! It will motivate you and help keep your accountable! Good luck!!
