OK, so I'm just going to jump right in here. Hello! Um, just another newb. I'm about 100 pounds overweight. About two months ago I stepped on the scale and saw that I was 260 pounds. Unfortunately I didn't start exercising or dieting, though. I did, however, start cooking all of my meals and making conscientious decisions about what I would eat throughout the week. I did this all for economical purposes, though.
Two days ago I stepped back onto the scale (I'm the maid-of-honor in a fast-approaching wedding, which is what prompted my return to the dreaded scale), and lo and behold: I'm down to 243.6!
I'm so happy! And all of a sudden insanely motivated like never before. Which is I why I searched around for a forum, because I know that having support, advice and tips from other people will help keep me motivated. I obviously plan on continuing to cook the way I have been, and yesterday I started exercising again for the first time in too many months. I can't allow this to be short-lived!
