Hello everyone,
I am a newbie and I just found this wonderful, wonderful forum.
I feel like this is the forum I have been looking for --- and didn't know it existed.
My story is that I've been up and down with my weight my whole life, mostly up for the past 10 years -- finally joined Weight Watchers last fall and have gone from 271 to 226 as of this week.
Many more pounds to go, but I very very much look forward to learning and sharing with everyone here in the months to come as I continue to deal with the emotions and issues that go along with losing 100+ pounds.
I've already been browsing through the threads and it is such a relief to find others who are in the same boat as me... up till now I've felt so alone in all this.
Thanks for listening and hope everyone has a great day!
We are all in the same boat, but rowing our way to success! Welcome from a fellow WW member, awesome job on your loss so far!! You'll find heaps and scads of info on this site and there are WW specific forums to peruse as well. Have fun
Welcome! You are NOT alone in this struggle! I particularly love the blogs...keeping a closer contact with people through them. Just remember, all we've got is today, so just try and take it one little day at a time! :hug
I have only been on this site since late March. You will be amazed at the amount of very valuable information you can learn from others here. Not to mention tons of support as we all have the same goal!
I'm a newbie here myself, but I know what you mean about relieved to find people going through the same thing. There have been a lot of threads I've looked at so far where I thought "Wow, I'm not the only one who feels that way!" It's a good feeling.
