New to this board!

  • hello you all,
    i've been spending all morning with reading and researching and all. and hopefully this forum and blog will help me get focused and back on track. so i'll lose the weight and can get focused on living live and working work again.
    60 pounds to lose. with cutting down portions and going to the gym.
    my main problems are overeating, sweets, and stress...

    A trick I learned quick On Sweets~get lots of SUGAR FREE~There low in calories~Sugar free pudding & jello A Favorite for me


    Also yogurt is great for the sweet tooth

    Stress~Exercise helps with stress or even browsing this site when under stress!!!


    Overeating~The more your body gets use to eating less the more your stomach will shrink And you will start to fill & be fuller on less amounts

  • Hey Willow...I had a huge problem with sweets too and had to go cold turkey with them for several months...it gets a lot easier if you will strictly stick to plan for a week or two--you will find they don't tempt you as usual...all the best to you and I am glad you are here..

    just got home from my first session with my personal trainer. more about it in my blog...soon...first i need to get some work done.

    and - yes, willow is my nickname.

    re sweets - i am trying to eat more natural sweets like fruit and even veggies to beat the craving for white sugar. hopefully replacing refined carbs with whole wheat will help as well. we'll see.
