I started my journey a while ago... I am down 83 pounds and working towards 100.... but I need support. I get some at home. My husband tries to be suppourtive... but he doesn't get it. He has never had a weight issue. I have been reading through the threads and have become reinspired to work hard again. Just looking for friends to journey with.

I know what you mean about skinny husbands just not getting it! My husband has loved me through thick and thin...but he doesn't understand my weight struggle. He can eat hamburgers and french fries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and still fit into his 32 jeans!
But 83 lbs down!?! That's awesome! I also have about 100 lbs to lose, but am only down 9 so far!
Just remember that at the end of the day...you are doing this for you!!!
Thank you! It has been a hard struggle....I have been the heavy one all my life. My husband will eat a pint of ice cream every night and not gain an ounce. Sitting next to him I gain 5lbs. I need people to talk with that understand.
WOW! Congrats on your loss! Welcome! Surf around and settle in. Be sure to check out the Maintainers forum where we work on keeping lost weight LOST! You don't have to be at goal to post there.
my husband is mr skinny, and eats like mr cow. i hate him for it. but not once, even at my heaviest did he ever comment on my weight or tell me i needed to lose weight. he always told me i am beautiful no matter what size i am.
as for you.. you are doing amazing!! keep up the great work. support doesnt sound like what you need. to me it sounds like you need inspiration! something you might want to try is finding a picture of you at your heaviest and putting it in the bathroom. that way every morning when you get up to get ready you can see just how far you have really come.
good luck to you!
and if you need someone to talk to that understands pm me and we can exchange emails!
