Default Take that!

my workout dvds have the express version, which is shorter and easier, and then the regular 40 minute, kill-ya-the-WHOLE-time workout. Tonight, for the first time I managed to get thru the entire video, without stopping!! normally when I am so out of breath, I stop and wait a few mins and watch and then continue...but not tonight!

The funny thing is that about 15 mins thru I started losing steam, and I just kept telling myself- you make it thru this whole thing and u can post a post on 3FC. LOL

I have 3 big things coming up, 2 in one month, and another in 2 months and so this week I have really stepped up my game. I've worked out hard, Ive eaten under 1500 cals, i cut out soda (mostly), and have been trying to drink water or home made iced tea.

the scale isn't moving big, but just being able to make it thru that whole thing made me sooo happy. Even my mom was like WOW thats a hard workout!
GO ME!

You are one tough NaughtyMonkey --- too tough for those pounds of fat to deal with! I am thinking they better start watching the classifieds for a new place to rent, because you are going to be evicting their freeloading behinds --- one after the other after the other!

Let's all wave bye bye to the nasty pounds of fat!

Great job on sticking your routine out until the very end! When we stick to what we know to be best of us health-wise and weight-wise, then those pounds of fat simply have to lose!

That's great naughtymonkey! You go and kick that dvd's butt again! I get really excited about my increasing fitness. I love raising the incline and speed on the treadmill and feeling the muscles in my legs, it's amazing to me! Before you know it that dvd will be too easy and you will be moving on to something harder.

Here's the thing ~ I've been small(er) before but I have NEVER been in shape before. Not even in high school. Not even in kindergarten!! It's great to be wearing a smaller size but feeling STRONG and HEALTHY and FIT is waaaaaaaaaaaay more exciting/motivating/rewarding than I ever thought it would be...as proud as I am of fitting into size 18 jeans, I am actually more proud of being able to walk to the top of Dupont Circle escalator without stopping instead...

WAY TO GO NAUGHTY MONKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep on truckin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude -- that's a kick-a** escalator! I used to walk the Rosslyn one every day coming home from work. Then life intervened and here I am! I think if I ever ride the Metro to work again (I walk right now), I'd like to be able to climb, climb, climb!

Darn it, Num! LOL

If you can't have that big a scale victory, making that whole video was a good one for me. and you girls had a part in it, cause i was thinking...you can post, just make it and you can post. lmao

im a simple girl. lol
