Exclamation Food points

Hello all,

I am coming back to WW after a 3 year break and an unsuccessful attempt with South Beach. I bought the updated information, but I have a question about the points. Are there any foods that you can have "unlimited" serving size of and have it count as 0 points? I'm trying to find foods that I can eat throughout the day that are 0 points.

Thanks!

Veggies - you could cut up cucumber, tomato, broc/cauli, celery to eat throughout the day, and there is 0-point soup but I believe it's only 0 points with one serving.

Is that all veggies? I love carrots, but they say 10 baby carrots has 0 points, but I wasn't sure about more.

Carrots tend to be counted for points after one serving. Corn and potatoes and starchy veg such as those are counted for points.

However, no one ever gained their weight from eating carrots - so if it helps you maintain your sanity and keep going with WW, you can try eating carrots to your heart's content and see how your losses go.

I thought the carrots thing was unlimited raw, but limited cooked because carrots release sugar when they're cooked? Something like that - I can't remember.

Anyway, honestly I wouldn't worry about carrots. What kinds of things were you thinking that you would snack on?

I was thinking veggies, like carrots. But, I didn't know which ones would be points after one serving.

10 raw baby carrots is listed in the WW material as 0 points but 20 raw baby carrots is listed in the WW material as 1 point so they are not an unlimited 0 points value.

1 serving of raw baby carrots is 3oz at 35 calories, 0 fat and 2 fiber so if you have two servings then your calories would obviously go up causing it to equal 1 point instead of 0.
