I'm in dire need of some new workout gear. Were are your favorite places to get them from? Favorite brands? *Note, I like to have pockets for my pants cause I don't have an armband for my ipod and I also carry chapstick with me to the gym ( yes, I'm strange...lol)*
I buy mine at walmart. Cheap and cheerful
Especially when losing weight and dropping sizes, I don't like to spend a lot of money. It seems like a waste to me.
I wait for the sales at Catherine's stores (check their website) and like the Liz and Me brand. I like the quality and selection at Junonia (web only) but they are pricey for my clothing budget.
I found some Adidas pants with pockets at TJ Maxx/Marshalls. Lately those have been my favorites places to find pants since they are pretty cheap. I like Junonia stuff, but I agree...they are pricey. I'm with you....I always have Carmex with me and even though I have an armband for my ipod I like the pockets better.
My faves are the St. Johns Bay active wear pants from Penney's. Of course, I work at Penney's so I may just be pushing their products, but they were real cheap even before my discount! And they're sturdy and have pockets (I don't have an iPod arm band either!)

do all the pants have pockets? I like some of their capris in the active wear.
and BarbPA, I love Junonia too, but the pricing is so much. I can't justify it. Though I did find some great shorts on ebay from them.
My favorite workout attire is my black silkey PJ bottoms and a baggy t-shirt, favorite workout equiptment is my heaviest ice cream spoon......oooppppps SORRY had a flashback.....back to the present now!
Ditto TJ Maxx/Marshalls you can find some great deals. I'm in love with these pants from Nike (Nike Dri-FIT Perfect Fit Women's Capris). No pockets but they are the best workout pants for me hands down. Nike also makes a top I like, Nike Dri-FIT Women's T-Shirt. I sweat like a manic so moisture wicking is a must!
Since my pants don't have pockets I have an ipod shuffle 1G that I got on eBay for only $30. I love it, just clip it to my shirt and I'm good to go. And since I sweat like crazy I've ruined some headphones but these have lasted 4 months now (Sony Active Style Earbud Headphones).
BornToFly -- I'm not sure if all their pants do...but all three pairs that I have do! And I have a pair of the SJB Capris with pockets and one without. I think it depends on the type of material it's made out of.
Im poor so I just use a tshirt and shorts, and I stick my walkman inside my bra. I wonder if people think Im nuts, but hey, Im poor, and I dont care what they think. Im there to exercise, not make friends. Hee Hee! New shoes and an ipod are on my wish lists....for presents to myself during my weight loss process....when I get enough money, whenever that is.....
I love the capri work out pants from JCPenny also. I just wear those with a big t-shirt and get to steppin! I clip my I-pod to the neck of my t-shirt instead of the pants pocket. I have sent it flying across the room before when it was attached to my pants!
