So, I did not go on a "diet" per se, but I've tried to monitor my eating habits in a permanent and sustainable way, so I could feel "healthy," but ever since then I've been burping and sometimes even farting a lot more. I'm eating about 2000 calories a day now and eating healthier foods, so I don't understand the cause of this.
Typical day before:
no breakfast... smoothie, some kind of lunch... like a bento with rice and meat, then dinner: like half a glass of milk, like 3 different things like pasta, hamburger, chicken, etc, maybe sometimes even 2 pieces of cake, then later on.. some oatmeal and a pop.......
Typical day now:
cereal with milk for breakfast... small morning snack (fruit or cheez-its or peanuts, etc), some kind of lunch... like a bento, small afternoon snack, for dinner: salad, one glass of milk, fruit, and a small entree, then 3 hours later jello for dessert
It seems like I'm eating foods that are better for me now, and yet... I'm having gas issues now. For the past week I've also had mild diarrhea, which is irritating. I'm thinking the diarrhea might be because I've been mostly snacking on peanuts (albeit in small quantities), so starting today I'm going to try not eating peanuts at all for a week and see what happens but other than that... what could cause suddenly eating HEALTHY food make the body have extra gas? I'm kind of concerned.
