Ever since I have been eating better and I have lost a little weight I have noticed I have this weird body odor and my breath stinks too. It is especially smelly after exercising. It is hard to explain how it smells. It doesn't smell like traditional body odor like if you were to forget to put your deodorant on. It smells completely different than regular body odor.
Oh my! Me too! I've been too embarrassed to mention it but it is certainly linked to my weight loss. I would just like to know what is causing it and hopefully be able to improve the situation.
No, I'm not doing low carb. Just counting calories. But I know what the ketosis smell smells like because I have done low carb before. The smell I have is not like the ketosis smell at all.

No idea, sorry. I was thinking you must be low-carbing, too. I know some weird stuff happens when you're dropping weight, though, like sometimes people get dry skin or things like that, so maybe this is something like that?
Hmm, I'm counting calories but have mostly removed sugar and while I'm not super strict on carbs I am limiting them. If I eat too many carbs (particularly in the form of bread) I start sugar craving.
I have heard that the body can store chemicals in fat and that the chemicals are excreted as the fat is burned. Not too sure about the quality of the source, though.
