I had an awesome B-day!
Yesterday was my 30th birthday! I am not big on birthdays but yesterday turned out to be awesome! My mom got me a new scale, which I really wanted. My brother bought me a Heart Rate Monitor (a reebok one - lower grade I think but will work fine for me), which I also wanted.
Then my mom and I went shopping. I bought some new shirts which I really needed, and my mom bought me a new pair of workout pants, which I needed and some new curtains for my living room window. I had fun trying on all those clothes. Even the shirts I didn't buy I though to myself 'in another month or two those kind of shirts are gonna look great on me'!
Then I came home and my husband bought me flowers!! He hasn't done that in a very very long time. It made the day even more special.
I toke the day off from logging my calories and did not do my regular exercises but I had to do my morning and evening horse chores, I also toke a 2 mile walk in the evening cause it was actually nice hear in WI, and we walked around the mall for couple hours too. I didn't keep to a strick healthy diet but I was far from overeating or getting carried away. Plus I still made some good healthy choices. I think I actually might have stayed near my calorie goal. I haven't had a birthday this great for sometime. 30 or not I had a awesome day and I just wanted to share it with all of you!!!!
