Default Quick question regarding weight

I just really started going pretty hardcore into working out again (going strong 5+ times a week for the past 2 1/2-3 weeks or so) and have managed to jump 2 pounds on the scale since last Monday. Granted, I DID have a "cheat weekend" with the boyfriend. (I'm talking 2 cheeseburgers, 1 1/2 beignets, Cold Stone ice cream, shrimp alfredo pasta...in 2 days. lol)

Do you think I gained it from the cheating? Or do you think it could be my muscles building up?

I know which answer I'd like it to be...lol

honestly, its probably water weight from the sodium in that cheat food. Most of it is anyway. Some of it ( a very small portion could be actual fat) but I wouldn't count on it being muscle. just because it takes longer to build muscle. but, i would just assume its water weight after the cheat weekend. thats just my opinion though. who knows, LOL

I'd say water retention.

Muscle builds overtime and you wouldn't just jump up 2 lbs from it. lol

I would agree with the others and say the cheat food did you in. You will have to drink plenty of water and stay OP to get rid of it.

Also when you are working your muscles out, THEY retain water too.
