Default This is my time to get down to business...

Hi there! My name is Vienna, I'm 23 and I am a bulding bride-to-be... lol

I just realized today that I now have 16 months until my wedding and I currently have 162lbs left to lose...

I want to leave about 6 months before my wedding to not have to worry about losing weight so in actuality, I have 10 months to lose 162lbs. And I need the help with the motivation. I have a gym membership and lots of beautiful outdoor space to use to my advantage. please help me stay on track!

oh and it's good to be here! lol

Well, 162 in ten months might be a bit more, um, ambitious than one might hope. I think the best thing might be to sort of divide it up into bite-sized chunks, maybe ten lbs per month? Besides, once you start to lose a significant amount of weight, by the time the wedding (congratulations, btw) rolls around, the fact that you will look and feel so great will more than make up for the fact that you probably will not have hit your original goal. Take heart, you will still look fantastic!

Thanks for the honesty I agree that it is quite ambitious, honestly, I'd be happy to be under 200 again. I know that actually I'm not too set on the weight, I'm set on the feeling I know I'll get when I reach the fitness level I want to be at.

Welcome to 3FC! Man, some days I miss the excitement and anticipation I had in planning our wedding. You must be so excited! I do agree with Freshman, your goals are a little ambitious, but I know you will make FANTASTIC progress, and no matter what weight you are, you are going to look and feel amazing on your wedding day! Good luck, and please post often! We look forward to seeing you!
