Red face Another Noob!

Hello! So i was totally looking up info on the FullBar and this forum came up, so i said what the heck, maybe this is what I've been looking for. Anywho...

My name is Natalie, im 23 years old. SAHM of two kids. I used to be about 150 before i had my daughter, 5 years ago, then it took me 3 years to lose most of it, I got down to 170 before i got preggo with my son, who is now almost 2. Now im at 245, which im also 6'0" so i guess i can carry it well. But i sure dont feel it. Ive tried to lose weight before, its hard, when my husband is trying to GAIN weight & he can also eat whatever he wants and not gain a pound.

So i hope this forum helps, before i loose my mind. I need help, i need to be motivated to do this, I need that boost.

Hey Natalie -

Have you seen the 20-somethings forum? It's for those in that age range.

We also have forums by eating plan, amount to lose, etc. So look around! We have tons of spots you can settle into.

Can't wait to get to know you better!

Default Fullbar = chalk tasting Cardboard

I'm new here, but I saw the message about Fullbar and I just had to jump in.
I fell for the Fullbar thingy. I will give you information on the product because you have to like the product in order for it to work.

You can actually make a Fullbar like product at home. Here is the recipe.

Go to your grocer and buy the off-brand cereal that looks like sugar smacks
While you are there, also buy honey, glue and chalk
Get a cardboard box and cut it into rectangles 4.5 inches x 2.5 inches
Take two of your rectangles and glue them together
Put glue on both sides of the glued rectangles and drop in a bag of off-brand cereal and shake as if you are flouring a chicken
Spread honey on both sides of the “cerealed” rectangle
Shake chalk on both sides of the rectangle
Shove in the oven and bake to the scorched point
Cool, take a bite and drink a glass of water
There you have it.

I purchased Fullbar and I got the product and the book and other information.

I sent several messages to the Fullbar folks to ask if the scorched chalky taste was what the product was really meant to be and I never received a response.

Don't waste your money. In fact, if you send me your address, I will send you all of the unopened boxes and the accompanying written materials I have for free.

I just saw the Fullbar comercial and I threw a book at the TV. It's just another way for someone to make big bucks from the unsuspecting consumer.

haha, Dahvi, I am sorry you had such a bad experience with the full bar. Your recipe made me laugh though.

Ouch, my tummy is hurting from laughing at that recipe...sounds delightfully awful! But hey, if it works for someone, why not? At least there won't be an issue with not getting enough fiber.

okay now I'm probably gonna get ma hands slapped here, but I love those oats and chocolate fiber breakfast bar thingys - I have one and a full glass of water and I swear it tides me over if I am like starving. fiber one makes them, and kroger's has a generic brand called Active lifestyle, its in the green box. Try them, you will die. :P and they are a lot cheaper too. Good luck!
