I'm wanting a new MP3 player... mine is as old as the hills, it only holds like 200 songs lol.
I REALLY want an iPod touch, but I obviously can't afford that, I can't even afford a regular iPod. I've looked into other touch screen mp3 players but the few that I found didn't have many reviews. I can get a refurbished iPod touch for 180, but this kinda scares me.. I would spend the money if I knew it wouldn't go out on me after 90 days (that's how long the warranty is for) cause lord knows I would use it everyday.
Any tips? I would mainly use it for working out. I know I don't really need a touch just for that, but I think they look cool haha.
I got my daughter an emerson brand For xmas for $25.00 .
Very easy to download ect. Holds pics videos/songs ect.
They have a version of it I think for about $40 that holds well over 200 songs.I think the one I got her she has about 200 or so songs and 10 videos...And about 75 images. or so.
Maybe check them out (Google them)GOODLUCK
I searched and searched, and I decided I'm getting this one. It has good reviews and it comes with a car dock! I'm mainly getting it because it has a 1 yr warranty. If I dont like it I'll just send the sucker back and get another sandisk.
i just got mine today and it was 20 dollars i think with free shipping from newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16855507008 this is the one that i got. DH got it for my birthday. ( my birthday is not until tomorrow but he let me have it today )
a little 4GB Sansa Clip. It's a little tiny thing, smaller than a business card and holds over 1,000 songs AND it's pink! When I first got it, it came with a free 30 day trial for Rhapsody to go, but my DH and I like downloading new music and hate CD's so we pay $14.99 a month for unlimited downloads.
You can also hook up an aux cord and listen to it in the car if you have an aux input.
The 4GB will run you about $70 with tax and everything.

Nish: I am def. getting a Sansa if I don't like the one I ordered. I had a Sansa before, and I really like it, it's just old and doesn't hold enough songs.
I actually have an Ipod touch and LOVE it!!! It's so cool...but I don't use it when I go to the gym just because I'm afraid it will either get broken or get stolen or something. I use it around my house or when I travel mainly. It was way too expensive for my taste, but I had a couple Target gift cards and a Visa gift card that I saved up to put towards it. It basically cost me the same as if I bought the newer version of the nano.
For working out, I have an old ipod nano....first generation I think. It only holds something like 185 songs (or at least, that's the most amount of songs I could get on it). It's only 1gb, but it works for the gym and since it's so old and I have had it for about 3-4 years now, I'm not as worried about it getting broken or anything. I can't even tell you how many times I have dropped it while on the elliptical and the thing keeps going!
The one you ended up buying looks like it has most of the same features that the touch does, so I hope it works out good for you.
I bought an older model iPod nano 4 Gb on ebay last year for like $50. granted, its not a touch screen and all that jazz, but I just use it to work out with... so it's all good...
I have a Creative Zen 8g, got it on some site like overstock.com for $60. It's great! I really don't like Apple products much, I think they have some shady business practices.
I have a Sansa Fuze, that I got in a closeout sale at Office Max or somewhere, It's 4gb i think, and I love it! I had an Ipod video that broke this winter, and the Sansa is just as user friendly and I adore it!
(Although I'm very tempted to get a new Ipod Nano with my tax refund... the colors are so pretty!)
I got my last two MP3s from Ebay. Some generic type from China. The first one was a 4GB that was working great until I spilled water on it. The one I'm getting right now is a 8GB. Hopefully I get it sometime next week.
