Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I have been on this forum. I used to come on this forum in high school, and now I am in law school.

My weight has fluctuated quite a bit over the years.
At the moment, it is very difficult to lose weight because I study all the time and sit in front of a computer. I have hired a personal trainer at the gym, but I usually see him only once or twice a week. Sometimes I miss weeks when I have a deadline or a particularly busy week at school.
I recently joined WeightWatchers, but I don't know if tracking food "points" (or calories) is a good idea for me. It only made me obsess about food, which I would like to avoid.
I eat a relatively healthy diet (vegan), but I have a real problem with portion control and late-night binge eating. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to tackle those issues, but it would be nice to meet other people who are trying to lose weight.
I haven't been able to find any weight loss buddies at school. Everyone is already quite thin! I'm not sure that I want to advertise for a weight loss buddy on the school forum either. What would I say? "Fat Chick Seeking Other Fat Chick for Fun and Weight Loss"?
Ultimately, I would like to lose 30-40 lbs and get into better shape.
