Default Anyone get a headache from hunger?

I am starting WW for the 4th time and tomorrow will be my 4th day. Every time I started in the past and now I get what I call "hunger headaches" for the first week or so. Any idea why? Do you think my body is detoxing from sugar and salt and fat? Any suggestions besides medicine?

I calorie count, so I don't do WW, but I have NEVER had a headache from hunger. If you think that hunger is an issue, eat less points - more often. "Balance" your eating through the day. Eat some protein ever 2-3 hours, and you should be fine.

This is common for me. If I eat a lot of sugar I get a headache.. OR... after I've been OP for a day or 2 and my body realizes... hey, where's the sugar!... I get a headache. Mine only lasts a day. At the most I would take one tylenol once. Good luck with the headache.

I get hunger headaches.. when I get ravenous. The thing is I try to eat often enough so that is not possible. Cutting out sugar also gave me headaches for short time, along with making me grumpy lol.

That sounds like a blood sugar issue. Counting Down is right, you should eat smaller, more frequent meals and make sure they have protein so your blood sugar stays more level.

I only ever get headaches if I've gone a long time without eating (several hours.) I can tell when I need to eat usually before I get a headache becasue I get really cranky when my blood sugar plumets.

Also, are you cutting back on caffeine at the same time?

I get headaches from being overly thirsty, but not from hunger.

If I let myself get too hungry, I become faintly nauseated, but it's not a headachey feeling. It's definitely down in the gut.
