Talking I think they're pretty great

Please take a look at my chatter about it here:

Ok, as a new member I have to have at least 25 posts to give you the link to the other Core Rhythms I commented in. Please view the thread titled "Core Rhythms" and look for the post in there by baby phat.

I recommend them by the way! And I used to be a dancer and still love to dance.

Ditto that. I don't think I have the coordination. Even slowing them down and watching the help function I had a hard time.

I did the core rhythms videos for about a month. I liked them at first but I don't feel that they are really enough for weight loss. They're fun and maybe good if you just need to tone, but not enough heart pumping cardio for me.

I just started using them, but I am going to use them as something to tone and learn to be more graceful, not as my primary method of weight loss. I think it's gonna be good!

They are more a fun way to just get moving I think. More straight cardio. I think they are good for beginners.

I bought the system about two years ago. I the dvds were alright and didn't feel they were too hard to follow. However, keep in mind I also like to dance (and am kinda coordinated perhaps in my mind.) I used the dvds for a short period of time but not long enough to have any real results. Until last month its been sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

I have restarted my "healthier" journey and am incorporating core rhythms into my fitness dvd weekly rotation. I really prefer the 20 minute dvd to all of them. I worry about the 45 minute dvds as I tend to get a lot of aches and pains behind them (usually my sides, back and knees) even when I do my own version of low impact for the program.

My overall feelings for the system is that they are fine for adding variety to my workouts. However, I can't say that it makes me feel too excited about exercising but then that's how I feel about exercising anyway.

On the other end of the spectrum, I have a co-worker who loves the system. I think she is up to a 10 lb weight loss over the past 2 months.
The major thing she is noticing is how loose her clothes are beginning to fit. Also, I think she uses the dvds about 3 times a week (in addition to other activities) and she's been doing pretty well sticking to the diet they suggest. She's not following it 100%. She is 80% on the diet and 20% off.

I just did a search re: this system.

I've seen the infomercials before but actually watched the entire thing earlier this morning. It looks like something fun to do to get me back into the exrcise game. Dancing definitely tones me well.

My only concern with DVD's/videos is that I get bored easily. Once I learn the routines I don't want to watch them anymore. I really like variety. It seems this system has several DVD's so that may help.

Please share if you have more to add here, whether good or bad.

I actually came in to see what people thought of this because the infomercial I saw this weekend made it look so good (don't they all?).

My problem is that I've tried the Turbo Jam, and I just found that to be too quick for me (read that: for me). Are these DVDs similar to Turbo Jam, or are they very easy to follow? I'm looking for a little indoor variety to my Walk Away the Pounds DVDs.
