I cannot believe the difference in seven pounds. I think you have made great progress. Now for the kick in the pants, you are young, Elizabeth; lose the weight now. Every year that passes by, it gets that much harder to teach an old dog new tricks and harder to keep your metabolism as high as you can when you are young. When you hit your target, the best part is maintaining your hard work. I think of it like a work of art that you want to enjoy for a long time and you constantly have to be keeping an eye on it. I'm 29 and am at a weight that I haven't been in ten years. And I really wish I would have done this years ago. I let myself go, and it showed in my self-esteem, my appearance, and my personal decisions. The way you feel on the inside is a strong impression of how you look on the outside and vice versa.

Thank you, Mamaspank. That was just what I needed. I've already noticed that I lose weight much more slowly than I did when I was a teenager. Oy.

I looked at your before/after pics- amazing. You're my inspiration for today as I get back on track.

Not a whole lot of tough love needed. You see your pictures and you know what you want to do. You know you don't want to go back to the way you were before and you know that you feel better like this. Get the junk out of the house for now and really step up what you want to do. You look great in the progression pics now work on getting even better ones. =)
