First off, your friends might either be the worst friends ever, or might be giving you a little insight as to what you need to do to be successful this time. You need to be determined in your own right, not because you have the support of your friends, to changing your life. You need to be ready and willing to change. You need to find out what is stopping you from making the best decision of your life and move past it. Support is great and necessary to weight loss, but in the end, you have to realize no one is going to hold your hand the whole way, and you have to commit to sticking it out when it looks hardest.

Welcome. You can make these changes. There are many people on this site who have once been your weight and are at goal.Dont give up.You need to believe in yourself. It sounds like you have already set yourself up to fail by saying you know you will gain it back. You wont gain it back unless you quit trying.

Welcome to 3FC! Surf around and settle in! We have subforums based on age, eating plan, exercise and more! I'm glad you're here!

I think that for a lot of us there is no "diet"....I think we look at permanent changes for food and movement....that doesn't mean that everything has to change overnight. Baby steps are a good way to get going.

Please do check out the 300 lb Club that Heather linked to. Lots of good support and smart people over there. Good luck!
