Default Hello all

Hi everyone. I just recently signed up to this site so thought I'd say hello... it looks like the kinda place I need to be right now.

I reached my heaviest of 13st 10lbs (or 194lbs) at the beginning of the year and thought enough is enough! I'm currently calorie counting using another website and it's working really well. I'm finding it really easy and have lost 8lbs since 15th January - slowly but surely is how it's done.

I don't want to be ridiculously skinny, I've always been pretty curvy, but my curves have been getting lost amongst all my excess flab and I want them back! I'm quite tall so probably aiming for about 150lbs, but we'll see how it goes.

Hey, I'm new here also! I totally agree with you... Super skinny isn't what is important, being healthy is! I've been here less than a week, and already I feel a lot better about my weight loss journey this time! The support that I've gotten already is unexplainable. Good luck to you and your journey!

Pianoattack.. I take you play the piano? I play the cello. I've actually just gotten it from my parents house since getting married... in 2007! I'm going to be playing for somebody's wedding in May. I need new strings and I gotta get practicing!!

Anyway! Welcome to the forum! You do seem to be on the right track already. This place gives you some great tips and keeps you going when you don't want to!! Remember to enjoy your journey to getting a healthier you.

I originally wanted to 130lbs, but once I got to 150 (the first time), I realized i was pretty thin. So I set my goal for a healthy BMI which places me around 135-140. I think I'll be happy there. You'll find where you're the happiest too.
And remember to make sure the program you follow is easy enough to maintain for the rest of your life!

Hi, I'm also new here. I've been doing the same thing, counting calories, through fitday.com. I started around February 23 at 182 lbs. and my current loss is 4.4 lbs. My goal is also 150 lbs.

Good luck with everything, you've joined a FANTASTIC site.
