Default Here I go Again

I do not know where I am headed this time BUT I do know I need to head somewhere. I also know I need help but I do know I have to learn to help myself. I just do not know how anymore.

I stumbled on this forum and well I am hoping it is the landmark on my map. I am 38 a mother of 3 and married 2 times (still on the second one lol) I have always been up and down in weight BUT I have never been where I am now while NOT being pregnant. I am 265 pounds. I am trying to find a starting point but TO CONVINCE my body to do what my brain says to do is a some Hurdle!

I hope to find the direction from the people who EXACTLY the road I am on as This road is a very popular one.

Welcome 2LuvMyselfAgain from NC! What plan have you made for yourself? You could start by watching your calorie intake daily and see how your body responds to that. I began by watching and writing down EVERYTHING that I put into my mouth (and I stiil write everything down), and it really helps. Other than that, just making better food choices and I slowly have added exercise. Hopefully you can come up with a plan that you can adjust to and live with. Then your body should show you results by the better choices you make. This is the best place for information, inspiration, and support and just tell yourself you can do it! Hi Luv...fellow newbie here!
Carolinagirl has given some really good advice to start yourself in the right direction. Small changes, that you incorporate consistently will have the most long term impact. Tracking your food is so important... because being aware of how many calories, fat, and carbs we are putting into our body everyday is the key to making the necessary changes. I also think that portion control is vital. Measure and weigh everything when you are tracking it... accuracy will be a big help to you.
Coming here for support and encouragement is also a very good step...

Thank You all for the welcome!! I feeling very comfy already. Good Advice about writing everything down BUT how do you do it with 3 kids! I think my biggest failure in life is I am just so unorganized. I think that is my biggest downfall. Now being bigger then I ever have been I find myself fatigued and depressed. I really need to come up with a good plan. I think I need to do a lot of reading on here. I starting to feel the excitement and I HAVE NOT felt this about anything in awhile. I know I really gonna like it here!
