Default Progresso soup points

Hi! I have a can of Light Progresso italian-style veg soup. It says on the can it is 0 points value. However, there are 2 servings. If you eat the entire can, it is still 0 points or would it be 1 point? Not sure how to calculate this! Thanks!!

Oops-I should have probably posted this in another section! Sorry!

I checked the points with WW online tracker. That flavor is 0 points for 1 serving, but 2 points for the whole can. Same for the light vegetable and noodle.

One day my lunch consisted of the entire can of soup and when I entered it into the tracker, I was surprised to see 0 point soup come out to 2 points. I suspect because there's a small bit of pasta in there, it's actually a fraction of a point instead of 0.

When I am having multiple servings of something, I always add up the total calories, fat, and fiber and then figure out the point value.

A whole can of that soup is usually 2 points, sometimes 3. What you can do is look at the nutritional info on the side of the can, and multiply the numbers for calories, fat, and fiber by the number of servings in the can. Then stick those values into your points calculator or use your slider to determine the number of points for the whole thing. I have never eaten only half the can when I have had those soups, so I never get the "0 point" benefit. Still though, a can of soup for 2 points is pretty good

I like the Cambell ones much better and they have fewer weird things in them. Remember the fiber cap? One serving has 4, 2 servings you can only count 4. That's why it's 2 points. I always make a big pot of zero point veggie soup and vary the veggies from week to week. Much better than canned.

I'm not Quilter but in the W/W book there is the basic Zero point soup recipe and at the website they have 3 versions other than that one.
