Default Heeeeeello!

Hello everyone!

My names Sarah, I am probably not the typical person on here, I'm actually only 15, but everyone always says I look like I'm in my 20's.

I don't need to lose much, but I do need to get healthier and get into habit. I weigh 130 lbs, I'm 5 ft 6 inches, and I really just need to lose 10-15 lbs. I would love to get down to 115 lbs, but 110 lbs might be losing too much, I'm not sure. I don't want to look too thin, I just want to get in a good shape and get rid of any extra fat.

My main issue is my thighs and I have a bit of a stomach. But the problem is I have such a hard time getting into a good exercise habit or not indulging on too many sweets. I don't do any sports, and the only exercises I get is going for walks here and there.

So aaaanyways, HELLO EVERYONE!

Welcome to 3FC!!

Surf around and settle in. We have subforums based on age, eating plan, exercise and more! I'm glad you're here!

Are you interested in sports at all? Weightlifting is great for teenage girls.

You are at a nice weight right now, so in addition to weight loss, I hope you will consider some exercise. I found that exercise helped reshape my body and made such a difference!!!!

Hey there -

I don't know if you want to focus so much on weight LOSS as on toning and building muscle. Even if the scale stays the same, a toned, muscular body looks so much nicer and leaner. Right now, your goal weight is a BMI of 18.0, which is medically underweight. So make sure you talk about that goal with your doctor to ensure it's reasonable for you.

I'd second the suggestion to weight lift...it'll tone you up and make you look smaller and healthier. And it's good for all kinds of aspects of your health, including your bones.

Can't wait to get to know you better!
