Unhappy Here's hoping that everytime I see this picture I'll get off my butt!

Hello! I am new. I am 37, 165 pounds and 5' tall. I am so sick of looking at pictures of myself and hating them. However, I sooo do not have the willpower to get outside, start that tape, or stop my self from eating a loaf of bread for lunch. Seriously, my lunch the other day was a half a loaf of garlic bread. Not exagerating -- I took a loaf of garlic bread broke it in half and put one half in the fridge and ate the other. This was after eating some other unhealthy lunch and then deciding I wasn't full enough. I am so bored all the time but I don't want to do anything either. I am in desperate need of some motivation. TV is depressing. I am off work until March because of the season and that is NOT helping. I have been managing about 20 minute walks a day but compared to what I am eating forget it. At least i'm not gaining right now. Ok that's enough for now.

I've been there before, and have been there recently. I'm sorry you are feeling down. You CAN do this. Sometimes it helps to just make small steps. You've started walking, thats great! Maybe the next step can be just recording exactly everything you eat, just writing it down, not even counting the calories. When I start to slack off, I start doing that. And when I see all that I'm actually eating, its easier to start cutting back.

I'm trying to get my motivation back. I only started working out again about 2 weeks ago. That was after everyone at work told me I looked sick, and I was so so tired. I started working out that weekend, and have felt so much better since.

Please feel free to PM me anytime.

Welcome to 3FC
Just like to say As Lizzy stated walking is an excellent start.
I am a stay home mom who gets bored of tv as well~So I check in here as many times a day as I can Especially if I am craving unhealthy foods Or large amounts~And it really helps. There is sooooo much support on here.
My first month of losing weight I thought I would strangle a teddy bear (just being goofy with that senario~Since I am so easy going normally) Anyways, It was rough to change my eating habits which mostly stemmed from being bored . It will be hard but Cut out the unhealthy portions and replace them with anything you can find to keep you interested, Until you get use to the change....And pm me anytime when U are gripey and cuss me out if needed I will understand!Just say hey it's me and you said I could and I need too.LOL
GOODLUCK
