First of all Phase I is only supposed to be two weeks long. What's in the French Toast Scrambled Egg? You don't look like you have near enough veggies. Only romaine at lunch & asparagus at supper, then celery. You need 4 1/2 cups a day. I would also try to get some dairy in there. Also the peanut serving is 20 nuts.

Please do not stay on Phase I any longer. Please start adding in Phase II foods so your health is not in jeopardy.

As Murph says, you NEED dairy and also some legumes. Your veggies are way too low.

Usually on the weekdays I have quiche 1 slice which has cottage cheese eggs onions broccoli and 2% cheddar. It is a easy on the go breakfast. I then have a snack Frigo Light String cheese. Lunch 2 cups romaine or more with either chicken or taco meat cheese and dressing or Sour cream light. I then have 15 almonds or cashews for my second snack. Then I have salmon or Chicken with some kinds of greens like 2 cups green beans or asparagus...this sound better?

How about drinking some V-8? You need more in your salad than just romaine - tomatoes, cucumber, beans, peppers. You should be adding fruit or a grain by now. Why Phase I for so long?

Have you been on Phase II before? I'm confused. If you pig out on sweet stuff you will show a weight gain. I'm not understanding your post. Can you explain more? A serving of beans is 1/2 cup, but I have eaten as much as 1 cup at a time. Some people get too much gas with a larger serving if they are not used to eating beans. Have you read the book?

Moving to phase two would not really entail lots of sweets. It would mean something more like having some fruit with your breakfast or a slice of whole wheat toast (maybe eventually both depending on you). Basically, you will be incorporating a few servings of fruit and high fiber grains (you can check out the list here on the sticky). Beans are great to have. I agree that you should eat more veggies. You might also try counting your calories one day just to see how many you are getting. I do that now and then to make sure I am getting enough because I don't want to lower my metabolism.

The French toast eggs look good! I'll have to try those tomorrow!
