Default Quick question... Miso Soup?

I'm going to a japanese restaurant for valentine's day, and don't know if Miso Soup is acceptable for phase 2 (not sure what miso paste is derived from)... does anyone have any ideas? I can't seem to find this one on any list.

Thanks!

It's low carb and low cal, IMO very good for any diet.

It's fermented soy beans. It's my favorite Japanese food. Low cal but high in salt content. You can use miso to make salad dressings and gravies and marinades.

Traditional miso also uses "dashi" for stock, which is a seafood based stock. Miso is high in salt, but still good for you.
