Default fell off the wagon.. help

How do you get back into the swing of it. I did phase one than lost it on phase 2 due to my bday celebrations...Too many and way too many dinners out. I was just not ready for it. How do you get yourself back into the frame of mind?? I know I need this and want it but the thought of going through phase one again is terrrible.. Help

You shouldn't have to do a full Phase 1 so soon after completing it. If you're slip-ups have caused cravings try doing 3 days of Phase 1 and see how you feel after that.

As far as how I get myself ready for doing it again....I'm not sure...I think the first step is realizing that you have to do it...which you have. The next step is just sucking it up and doing it, it's tough to build habits but after they have been built it isn't hard to continue doing it. Just take it step by step, day by day and before you know it, you'll be a week in and won't have a problem with motivation anymore.

Get back in there, you can do it! When I am going back to Ph 1 and struggling I try to incorporate my favorite Ph 1 foods so I don't feel so bad about it. I love to make homemade indian dishes, roasted chicken, bean and lentil soups, and some of the SBD mock-foods are helpful too, like the SB pancakes and oatmeal (recipes are in the recipes threads)....Like Zeff said, a limited time limit of Ph 1 should be enough. If you're only going back for a few days or a week, maybe that will encourage you to stick with it. Llike the Obama-motto, just keep thinking "Yes, We Can!".

Great advice already. In this situation I would decide how many days I was going to do P1 (perhaps 3 or 5) and then I would plan all my meals and snacks for the duration. If it's written down and you have the food on hand, it's much easier to stick to a plan, IME. Just promise yourself you'll make this commitment and don't allow anything to distract you.

Hang in there! You can do PH1 again.

The only way I can do PH1 was to prepare my meals ahead of time. All my lunches and dinners are made ahead of time. I keep them in the freezer and heat them up when I am ready. This keeps me from overeating. The diet journal helps too, it keeps me from snacking because I am bored.

Red face

I try to start each day new. When I have a bad day or fall to the temptation, I tell myself that it is not too late. I had a bad week last week, but this week is going to be good one for me. And u as well. Don't lose sight of ur goal!

I love the SBD. Once I am on it, it is easy to stick to. My only gripe is that it is VERY hard to get back on after you get off. Because of this I am VERY careful about eating non-SBD food. I may have a small non SBD meal here and there but make sure that the next day I eat PERFECTLY and the slip up remains only one meal. Too many times one "off" day turns into a week off plan and the resultant self loathing guilty feelings. Then having to drag myself back onto phase 1 for 2 weeks and gettin the SBD flu again. It's just easier to stay on plan in the first place.

Good luck, remember that it's not easy but it gets easier.
