Talking Hello, just joined today.

Hello all :

I am new here, I have only just joined today. I am a vegetarian most of the week and vegan the rest of it. Hopefully will transition to full veganism at a later time, it is my ultimate goal.

I have a very very long history of suffering from an eating disorder, more than half my life actually and am in recovery now.

I am following 'The Fat Smash' plan and I really love it !! I find it very easy, quick, simple ingredients and my cravings are either gone most days or very controlled on others.

So just wanted to shout out a hello to everybody. I am glad to be here. Happy Saturday !!

Heya MissPossum and welcome!!!

It's great to have you here.

There's a cool vegetarian sub-forum down in the food section, you should definitely have a look around down there - you can talk to fellow vego chickies.

Congratulations on making this lifestyle change for the better - and congrats on the weight you've lost already!

I hope you stick around, post and share your stories!

Red face Thanx for the welcome !

Hello !

Thank you for your warm welcome !! The fat smash diet is widely available at bookshops and libraries, it is written by Ian Smith, MD.

It is an eating plan with a 4 levels, the first one being the hardest for many, but quite easy for me as I do not eat meat, fish or fowl anyhow, so being on level one is more or less how I prefer to eat in my recovery.

As each level progresses you add more and more things. If you read the reviews on Amazon you will find about 90% of the people who tried it found it easy and effective, but like everything else in life, what one likes, another hates. In my case, I hate the book ' Eat for life ' by Furhman !! Bleech.
