Red face My first "You look like you're losing weight"

I had my first "You look like you're losing weight" today at work. I haven't even been trying very long PLUS it's almost my TOM so I'm probably bloated.

It felt great and I've been to scared to step on a scale and see if I've lost anything yet.

I'm still hanging on to some bad habits. I ate fast food today but I got a wrap instead of something fried and I'm staying under my calorie allotment and working out.

I just need to keep it up!

I'd save it's safe to weigh yourself, haha. You might just be surprised! I lost about 6lbs my first week.

Yea, my first week I lost a ton. I think it's pretty normal, cause when you start eating healthier your body's probably like "OOOO Healthy stuff!! Vitamins! Minerals!" and when you're suddenly cutting down on fats and stuff your body, which is used to metabolizing the typical amount of fat, takes awhile to react, so it burns fat that you already have.

That's just my logic function working, I'm not a nutrionist or anything of the sort. So go check out the scale, you can't go wrong!!

And congrats! I know it's really awesome when you get that first compliment!

i've only been on my program for.. well today's day 12 and my boss said something to me earlier in the week saying she cld see it in my face. i can't see it in my face but i did notice other areas yesterday that have changed. i get on the scales DAILY if you can believe that and then of course weigh in at the center twice a week on top of that. i feel better looking at my numbers at home in the morning before clothes and food. helps to know that my clothes *w/o shoes* add 2 lbs at least so i don't freak out when i go in that evening and it's up 3 from that morning. i also think it keeps me on track better, reminds me that even one thing off course can screw me up for a week.

I got another one yesterday!!! I went to the doctor on Friday and I was still exactly at 245 but it's also my TOM so I'm thinking after that I'll see some loss.
