Default Trouble Starting Over...

I'm having a lot of trouble getting back on track and my weight keeps going up. My life has been kinda difficult: I made a decision to transfer schools which means a semester out of school and living at home while I reapply, my cousin is planning a wedding and all of the burden is falling on me, my "dream guy" is now seeing someone else which sucks and my family is driving me crazy!! All of this has led me to one place: binge eating. With 6 weeks until my cousin's wedding, I have a dress that doesn't fit and I can't stop eating. I'm not sure where to start. HELP ME PLEASE!

First off, let me say...OMG I am so sorry that all of this has happened! O
k, I know that all of this sucks, but I have been going through a lot of somewhat similar problems and I know that you want to eat to make yourself feel better, but in the end you feel worse...I spend a lot of my days alone, so to make myself not eat all day I like to ride my bike and watch movies...if its nice I take a walk. It helps me think about what is going on, and not eat.
I know that this sounds silly but it really helps, sorry if I sound stupid...if you ever want to talk just pm me! I wouldn't mind at all.

I would first of all start blogging or writing in a journal. I spent nine of the last 12 months feeling very depressed and I found that really helped get things out and calm me down.

I also started drinking a lot of water, green tea and chewing gum when I feel hungry and I know I've already had enough to eat.

I really like thedailyplate.com too. It is really making me realize how many calories I waste drinking and how much of my food is fat and carbs.

I'm really trying to keep up with this board too. It makes me feel better. I lost 15 pounds last year and gained ten of it back and I feel horrible. I'm not having a great time getting back to it either but you just have to keep on going!!

ok, you are in a bad spot and it sucks, but let this be the thing you do for yourself. (easier said than done I know) But start fresh tomorrow. Don't worry about what you have done and focus on what you can do to fix it. And if this dream guy isn't with you then that's his loss. the best revenge is looking great

Girl!!!! Take deep breaths and a knife and cut that guys b***s off!!! Okay just kidding on the knife thing. Know first off that the guy is not worth your time, your tears or gaining weight. In fact, knowing that he is with a little hussy should fuel your determination to lose the weight so that you can flaunt your hot new little bod in front of him. Second I understand oh so well how families can drive you crazy. You need some "you" time. Take a bubble bath alone with the door locked and quiet music. Go sit in a coffee house or library. Go see a movie by yourself (it's not as bad as it sounds, I promise. lol). Something you enjoy...go do it and go do it alone!!! Soon enough you'll be feeling more determined and motivated to get back on track.

All of your advice, support and encouragement has brought me to tears and made me laugh! My bingeing has been bad. I've felt like a drug addict, I've needed more and more food to get the same "good" feelings and it never lasts and I DO feel worse.
