Hi All,
I am trying to get some off for the umpteenth time and change my lifestyle eating habits in the process. It is really hard because I tend to use my "suit of armor" to protect me. I guess one of my doctors was right when he said "all this is hurt, disappointment, not being loved, etc." I just don't know how to stop it now that I have hypothyroidism and my body doesn't want to give me the energy to lose it. I have always been tired even when I was not overweight. But as years went by and illnesses accumulated I got more tired even before all the added weight gain. Now I live on medication to keep me awake and it doesn't do a very good job so I don't have a lot of energy to exercise. Exercise is crucial to weight loss. The more muscle you have the easier it is to keep the weight off. Muscle burns fat. I will start slow and try to stay on track and dust off my treadmill and take the clothes of the handle.
