I had been working about 8 hours drive North of where I live as a travel nurse. I was eating stupid and I really regret saying that. I am usually following Weight Watchers and just skidded off the runway as I call it. Anyways, my stupid eating was sugar free ice cream namely Blue Bunny and Sam's trail mix.
Last night I arrived home, brought my countless packed bags back and my family and I ate out. I woke up feeling "heavy". I haven't weighed in for weeks and I decided ok, best to get over with it and face the scale. From my lowest on this last attempt on Weight Watchers it was 9 lbs. up. Here I thought I must have been up at least 20-25 lbs. and all I was up was 9 lbs.
Anyways, something good happened after that. There is a very good job opportunity abput a 25 min. drive from home that pays even better than where I was and I can stay home yay!!!!! Saturday will be my meeting unless I delay the time to go to my job interview which will work as well.In either case, I don't have a lot of excess lbs. to take off to get to my last low point on this last attempt and I am very happy about this and of course the job. I self schedule my days and hours. I'm a RN and work Intensive Care.
I'm proud of myself for just eating the appetizers and stopping when I was full rather than eating the appetizers, entree, and dessert just because it was there on Saturday dinner with my parents.
I am proud I didn't totally go off the rails when staying with my mum while dad in the hospital with heart problems. I actually caught myself, and stopped.
Good for you to get a new job and win a better lifestyle at the same time. Enjoy. And your new employer will also win by having an experienced professional like you on board.
I just threw away a tub of Toll House cookie dough (you know, the one I bought so I could bake cookies for a party but instead accidentally on purpose "forgot" about).
But I ate a bit of it first. Oh well, small victories, right?
Accepting the fact that I will never stop at a 4 oz glass of wine... or two, I took control and looked for the lowest alcohol drink I could have in some quantity and switched to MGD64 lite beer this week. I have had 2 per night by pouring them 1/2 at a time into my 6 oz wine glass, and I had a 4.8 lb loss this week!
