Default Awesome Smoothie - Thought I'd share....

So I just made me an awesome smoothie for breakfast. I am trying to eat a high protein breakfast and was on runner's world and found this recipe:

1 cup milk (I used skim)
1/2 cup yogurt
frozen mixed berries
plus for extra protein I added a scoop of Zero Carb Isopure Whey Protein w/25 grams of protein

I blended it all together and it was awesome!!

I also found a quick crockpot recipe that I am trying out today to make chicken tacos tonight. All you do is get a lb of frozen chicken breast and mix together a packet of taco seasoning and rotel tomato and let it cook on low for 8 hours. My friend says you should be able to shred the chicken for tacos or anything else you want to make when it's done!

That's a good idea on the crockpot chicken. I like shredded chicken like that for my enchiladas and on taco salads. I might have to do that and then maybe freeze up some portions for later.

Both sound great. I'm going to have to try the chicken. Always love finding new ways to cook it.
