Thanks, ladies! I'm having a wonderful day. Brian and I went to pick up Don for lunch and he had gotten me a beautiful floral arrangement and a very sweet card that wasn't romantic but showed how close our friendship is. We went to a great Mexican restaurant. He and Brian made sure the waiter knew it was my birthday so they all came to sing to me (there must have been 7 other birthdays there today). Brian and Don got along really well and Don has already said we will go out next weekend when Brian is camping if he isn't working. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
I was so stuffed from lunch that we just had leftovers from lunch for our dinner. I got an individual molten lava cake from the grocery store and Brian and I split it for dessert. I should have skipped it since it wasn't as fresh as I'd hoped so it wasn't worth the calories.
I got calls from a couple of friends wishing me happy birthday and that just topped off the day plus I spent time talking with my younger sister on the phone. I'm really enjoying 46. I remember when I used to think that was old. Nope, not any more.
Nope, 46 is definitely not old, Barb! I'm SO glad you had such a special day. This Don sounds like a good egg...any chance of something more than friendship developing?
beachgal - I'm very hopeful but the divorce has got to get final first. Right now we are having such a good time together and that is what is really important. I doubt if I would get married again though no matter what happens. Three times is more than enough!
