Default What's with this?

I've done this "diet" thing before and never had this happen so I'm a tad confused.

Every time and I mean EVERY time I eat something I get this icky "I think I might puke" feeling in my stomach for a little while. It only last from like 15-45 minutes but it's annoying as he!!. I can be starving starving or just a little hungry it doesn't matter. And then as soon as I eat, bam, it's a sour stomach.

It's ok if it's just a piece of toast or an orange or something but then even if it's just a sandwich or like this morning I had 2 eggs and an english muffin and it's already here.

What is the deal? It makes me not want to eat at all but that's not possible.

Oh gosh I hope not. I have an IUD and haven't had any trouble with it in the past 3 years so I highly doubt it. I'm not having any of the other symptoms and I'd recognize them because I have 2 children. Now you're going to make me go crazy thinking about that. LOL!

Sorry.

I know here in Missouri the stomach flu is going around. I got that along with a bout of Diverticulitis this past week and my stomach is doing funny things. Hope you start to feel better soon.

Yea my vote goes for the stomach flu as well. I had it a few weeks ago and it was horrible.

Are you having any pain along with the nausea? I know for me thats how i felt when i found out i had a defective gallbladder. Everything, even water came back up.

You could just be having an adverse reaction to something you're eating. Is there something you're eating more than usual now that you've gone on a diet? You could be sensitive to it without knowing b/c you didn't eat the much of it before you dieted. It's happened to me before with milk.

and eggs, come to think of it.

Hmm, haven't really change what I eat yet. Just how much. I had just bought groceries before I started back up and couldn't justify going and getting what just I need when I had just been there. I'm just counting cals and staying under 1350 of whatever I eat.

I suppose it could be the flu. But all week? And I've never thrown up.
And I just had my gall bladder out in August.
Thanks for all the suggestions though.

Is it anything like the gall bladder issues you were having? If so you might mention it to your doc.

My tummy is just not good empty. I'm better off to sip something warm first and then eat. I'm not bothered enough to mention it to my doc. It's just something I've grown to know.
