Default Diabetes and Sleep Apnea
Very interesting article about the possible connections between these two and the degree of benefit a Diabetic might receive from the elimination of sleep apnea . . . http://www.everydayhealth.com/public...betes_20090110 . . . I'm definitely going to print it off and discuss with my doctor the next time I see him.

Interesting article. Do you have any other symptoms of sleep apnea? My husband has severe sa. He was sick a few years ago, he went to the hospital with very low oxygen levels. (he was blue according to doc) They put him in hospital and he crashed overnight and took him to ICU. Scary episode because one doc wanted to trac him. I do believe he had sleep apnea for a long time what was untreated. I haven't been tested but I don't think I have it. Thank goodness because I couldn't have another dx. LOL

I was just diagnosed with diabetes, and I have sleep apnea too. Oh what joy.......
