Talking from obese to overweight

It was a small loss, just 1/2 a pound, but it moved my bmi rating from obese to overweight. Another small victory, and now closer to my next mini-goal.
I was tickled to say the least, and really helped me get back on track after a couple of days of not so great eating due to sleep deprivation. I was on track for calories, but not for healthy eating. I feel so much better today after both a good nights sleep and good food yesterday.

Every little bit adds up. Isn't it funny to be happy about being overweight? My BMI is still in the obese range but I am looking forward to being overweight as well. Keep up the good work!

Wow what an achievement! I know it seems small, just half a pound, but that's a fantastic victory! I still have 33lbs before I get to where you are, so congratulations and feel free to be smug!

I just learned a couple weeks ago that I am not obese (even though BMI says I am). It is a nice feeling. I also don't have as far to go to be in the healthy weight category as I thought. It does make me feel better and motivates me to get where I want to be.

Thanks everyone, yes, it does feel great. I have been keeping up with good eating ever since. Haven't been able to exercise as much as I want due to work and sleep deprivation from work, (4 births in five days, all of them keeping me up a least part of a night) but next week will be MUCH quieter as a result. I am off for a couple of days, and plan to get out for cross country skiing tomorrow. The little loss, is a real motivator, oddly enough. Makes it all feel very worthwhile. (So does DH)
BIG SMILES to all. thanks for the support
