Default prescription cheeseburger.

i have Generalized Anxiety Disorder with a touch of OCD (what a great mix!). i have become kind of obsessed with exercising and counting calories lately...

so today my psychologist gave me a task: eat a cheeseburger (my former favorite food) and don't feel guilty about it.

i did her one better. i had a cheeseburger, fries, and a little cup of caramel cashew frozen custard, and i feel no guilt whatsoever. it's freaking awesome. it also proved to me that i can eat what i want sometimes and not gain back all the weight i lost.

also, it was delicious. i enjoyed every bite.

I'm glad you enjoyed it..that was a MAJOR problem for me as well.....feeling like I've lost all control if I splurge and give in once here and there. I STILL haven't had my absolute weakness "Spicy Big crunch combo" from KFC..in over a year! I've had other things at KFC but I can't let myself have it...I think that weightloss makes us all a little OCD :-(.

yeah, and i also have major major control issues... that's why i've really enjoyed my weight loss, because i can control it. it makes my crazy life (grad school, committed relationship, two cats, no money) seem a little less insane.

95% good eating, %5 not so good

is a good formula, or 90/10

good for you! I can't eat a cheeseburger without dwelling on it for a week! It keeps me on plan afterward but at what cost?

it sort of reminded me that i like steak better than cheeseburgers, and lamb chops better than steak. but still, cheeseburgers used to be my favorite food in the world, and i would eat them at every opportunity. i think my craving for them is taken care of for a while.
