I've noticed that a lot of us on 3fc have had a great deal of success with calorie counting. For me, it's the simplest and most flexible plan, with solid results.
I'm another calorie counter, but find that different plans work for different people. The best plan for you is one you'll stick with long term, through weight loss and maintenance.
We have forums for all kinds of plans (WW, Calorie Counting, and Atkins included) so look around, explore, settle on something and get going.
I like that statement... The best plan is what will work for you. So true. I finally got tired of trying plan after plan after plan because I felt like "my plan" started to take over my life every single time and I became obsessed with being perfect for my plan.
I guess you can say my new plan is called common sense... I know what is healthy and what is not, and I have never struggled with portion control. And that is just what works for me. I know there are so many great plans out there that really work well, but like I said... If you give me a plan, I take it to an obsessive and unhealthy level!
