Default Well, that's not good!

I decided if I was going to do this I had to come to reality of what I've let happen over the last 5 months or so.

I broke out the ole' notebook and the last time I exercised was July 22nd. That's the last time I weighed myself too. I was 160.

Like I said, I am now, 179. I have also....don't have a heart attack here.....gained 18 inches back.

I decided right then and there something has to give now! I have a horrible head cold so I was giving myself until the 5th to really get back on track but why wait? I broke out the Cardio Party and Chalene and I jammed!

I'm sure I'll be sore but that comes with the territory.

Another sad tidbit, I used to be at target heart rate like 20 minutes max during the 45 min workout and I was there for 42 of the 45 today. OUT OF SHAPE!

The good thing is, you KNOW how to get those pounds and inches off and you KNOW you'll regain your fitness. Great job getting back on the wagon.

I just recently went through the same thing. I was down to 155 lb in Dec 2006 and kind of was coasting on that idea for the last while. Lo' and behold I step on the scale a few weeks ago and 174 lb hit me right in the face! It's sooooo easy to slip back if you are not vigilant.

therefore, vigilance has ensued and I am back on track.

I am in the same boat. I maintained a 150lb weight loss for 9 years and over the past 2 years have gained 50lb back!! I just discovered this site a few days ago and grateful I did. I was once 300lbs. I lost 150... Over a week ago I was back up to 200lb. I have lost 3lbs so far on my new start. I think the important thing is that we are back on track. I wish you a ton of success!!

In May 2006 I was 153lbs. I'm now 216 (and strangely enough I still wear some of the same clothes as when I was 153!) and it sucks. Best of luck didn't back to your old weight and well done for getting back on track before it got too bad!
