Default Im going to be 36 and I need to get this weight off!

Hi,
I joined this fourm last year when I was on weight watchers. Now Im off and Ive gained the weight back....Well Ive ganied over 10 pounds in 2 weeks...My mom died on Christmas eve and I have used food to help with the sadness....Plus Ive been home for almost 3 weeks and did very little. I had a gym membership but because of school hours and the gym hours I cant get there before they close....Its a long story.....My family wants to get my a Wii Fitness for our nentindo system which Im all for....Ive tried it and it looks like fun. I like the idea of working out but I cant seem to get motavied in the winter. We have a family vacation planned for the summer and I would like to lose maybe 25 pound by June.

We did good on weight watchers but it wasnt for us... My hubby lost almost 30 pound and has kept if off..I lost 20 but have gained back at least 12....I hadnt weighed myself since the first week in Dec and this evening i was at 214! I was in tears.....

Please advice...

Maggie

Maggie, looks like you are somewhat familiar with the boards, from being here earlier this year. Just jump in where ever you feel comfortable, and keep posting! Welcome back!

So sorry for your loss! It is tough to get through the death of someone you love without turning to food (I have experience in this area too).

Congrats for realizing it and coming back to 3FC.

I'm looking forward to reading your posts. You WILL get those pesky pounds off soon!

I too am sorry for your loss. I've heard the wii fitness provides a very good workout. I've also heard good things about TurboJam and it's a lot more affordable than the wii. Your post about your husband losing 30 pounds reminded me of that commercial - the one where the stick figure husband lost tons of weight and the wife ballooned out. Really, I think some men just have a really good metabolism and some women have really slow ones. Good luck with your weight loss. I too am starting over this year!

Hey Maggie,

Sounds like you just need to get refocused. The easiest way to do that, for me, is to make a commitment to being on plan for a determined amount of time...say, a week or two. Just commit to those weeks. Then, when they are done, the idea is that you'll have habits in place that'll carry you forward.

We have a great WW forum here, if you decide to go that route again, and also many different areas based on age, other eating plans, amount to lose, etc. Look around and you're sure to find one or many spots that feel just right.

Can't wait to get to know you better!
