Default last time I was here...

Well the last time I was here I was 19, living with my boyfriend & was slowly gaining weight. I am now 22, married, have a 10 month old daughter and have kind of hit a plateu in my weight. I made it up to 275 before I was pregnant. I went down to about 255 by the time I was 4 months pregnant. I got up to about 295ish right before I was delivered. When I walked out of the hospital I was 260. I am now 256. I am type 1 diabetic. I also have a thyroid issue and had early pre-e with my pregnancy, which caused them to deliver my daughter 2.5 weeks early. I dont want to end up with highblood pressure in the future so I need to get some weight off. Thanks for getting this far... Im excited to get started with the new year.

Tahiti, welcome back! Do you have an eating and exercise plan worked out yet?

Not really. For now I just want to start doing yoga/pilates(sp?) at home (i have a DVD and exercise bands) everyday and then working out at curves 3 times a week. As far as eating, i have a lot of bad habits to break and plan to take it slow so it can be a life change and no just a temperary fix.

Oh, I'm a type 1 diabetic, too. If you need a buddy to rant about the annoyances of diabetes and weight loss, feel free to PM me any time. Trust me, I've been there, done that, rode the ride, bought the t-shirt, and now I'm practically hawking the t-shirt, too If it's any consolation, I've maintained my 50 pound loss for a little over a year now.

Hooray for new years resolutions. I know you can do it!
