Thumbs up Here I go....Again....and for the last time!

Hi, I am a newbie, and I am very excited to have found 3FC! I have done every diet under the sun, and now that I am at my heaviest ever, I really need to make a change. I don't like to go out, I have chosen not to socialize, and my wardrobe has decreased greatly!!! My activities with the kids have come to a hault, and that dissapoints me the most!
So now I have no choice. No waiting for a miracle, no whishing every night that I would wake up with a new body, no waiting for someone else to make the change for me, there is no super diet pill, no diet fairy to help me out.
So, as of today, the change will start. My mind, my body, in my control. South Beach diet it will be. I am on a budget, and the foods on that diet seem managable.
And exercise...maybe using the gym membership that I pay for every month that I haven't used for 10 months!!!!!!
For everyone starting off as I, I wish you the best!!!!! Happy New Year!

Welcome to 3FC! You have a great plan! Have you seen the South Beach Subforum under the Diet Plan section?

Yes, do check out the South Beach subforum...you might also want to look at the 100 lb club, for those who are on their way to losing or have lost 100 lbs or more. It's such a wonderful, supportive group!

We also have groups by age range, and some miscellaneous challenges and support groups you could join as well. So look around, find a spot or several, and settle in.

Can't wait to get to know you better!
